Quirky writing challenge
Room 1 Literacy did another quirky writing challenge! I finished this one yesterday, it's kind of short and sort of repeats the same thing a few times? But anyway, the person is Jojo Siwa and the object is toilet paper :)
Jojo Siwa | toilet paper
Statement: why Jojo Siwa should have her own toilet paper brand
1) Jojo Siwa’s introduction, who she is, ect.
2) Why should she have her own toilet paper brand?
3) Why would it benefit the public as well?
Jojo Siwa, a famous Tiktoker, former dancer on Dance Moms, Youtuber, and a role model to many children. Her career all started off with Dance Moms and being apart of the Abby Lee Dance Company. Jojo is known for her unique and stereotypically ‘childish’ style: A tight side ponytail accompanied with a colourful bow, along with a neon and, (most of the time) glittery outfit.
Many children look up to Jojo and so a toilet paper brand would be ideal for them. Imagine having toilet paper imprinted with Jojo’s magnificent face on it. I’d be amazed and in love! We all know how amazing toilet paper is by itself, so add the thought of it being from Jojo’s own toilet paper brand? An amazing thought, that is.
The public would absolutely adore owning toilet paper from her brand. I can just see it now, Jojo’s bows and face imprinted over the soft and delicate pieces of toilet paper. It’d get many peoples’ attention and also benefit her. The hashtag would be trending on every social media platform, #jojostoiletpaperisthebest.
So in conclusion, Jojo Siwa should most definitely have her own toilet paper brand. It’d be unique, stylish, trendy, and adorable. It’d be easy to afford as well. Priced at only $10 at the minimum and $20 at the most. There’d be different sizes to include more rolls of toilet paper as well. So, I hope you enjoyed this piece of writing. Do take her getting her own toilet paper brand into consideration for the future or the present.

Blog Commenting
Welcome or welcome back to my blog!
Mr Ferguson who works with Maniakalani, visited our classroom today! He said a short recap about how to make a positive comment on other peoples' blogs. We then went off to do our own commenting, even turning it into a little challenge.
I think this experience was really fun and I'd love to do it again. But, we already know how to comment on other peoples' blogs and we've done it many times before :)
Here's a few of the comment's I did:

Mufti to school everyday?
Welcome or welcome back to my blog!
We have been looking at persuasive writing. We had to choose a topic to write about in persuasive writing style. I chose the topic, 'should students be allowed to wear mufti everyday?'. Here is my answer and writing. Maybe I was successful into persuading you into my opinion? :)
My answer: no, at least not everyday.
Three main points:
- Because of the many different school activities we have during the day, (sports, art etc), there would be a lot of washing and clothes going to waste.
- There would be dress code and nobody likes dress code.
- People might get teased for what they wear.
━━━
A good amount of students would probably want to wear mufti to school everyday. Perhaps to show a new piece of clothing they got. Or maybe they would rather prefer to express themselves through clothes instead of being stuck to wearing uniform. But the point is, should they be allowed to wear mufti at school?
Many students have an interest in sports. Specifically, rugby and most of the time, things get quite intense and it would result in muddy uniform. Even paint can get on our uniforms. That could result in upsetti spaghetti moms. So if we were to allow students to wear mufti, could you imagine how much money would go to waste? And how much washing there’d be?
We rarely get dress coded because of the fact we wear uniform and every now and then, somebody has to get a dress pass because their not wearing the Pt England School polo shirt. If mufti was allowed everyday, some students could be quite immature and might wear something with something inappropriate on it. And I doubt anybody wants to get dress coded and have to wear somebody else's' clothes.
Let’s face the fact that there would probably be people teasing others for what they wear. Maybe it’s due to the difference in style, but some people find the opportunity to tease somebody for anything. The idea of mufti everyday could possibly lower somebody’s self esteem just because of them wearing clothes they enjoy being in. Nobody should have to deal with that.
In conclusion, students should not be able to wear mufti everyday. Of course when the occasional mufti day, wacky hair day, or wheels day comes up, it’s more than OK for somebody to wear mufti because that’s an exception.
