How to Write a Quality Blog Comment!

Welcome back or welcome to my blog!

Today, i'll be giving you some tips to make a quality blog comment or just any comment!

1. Make sure your comment is positive!

Making sure your comment is positive is a MUST! Don't be negative, especially when giving somebody feedback on something. You could tell someone that they could've done something else instead of what they did do or something like that but, just make sure that it doesn't sound rude. You don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, do you?

2. Read through your comment! Does it sound right?

Now when I say, "does it sound right?" I don't mean does the grammar sound right. I'm talking about your comment in general. Is it positive? Maybe your comment is positive but it just might sound negative to the person it's for. So make sure you look at the other persons perspective as well!

3. Grammar!

As mentioned above, grammar isn't really that important but you want to make sure that your grammar isn't that bad because you want people to understand what your trying to say. Try using interesting words maybe or make sure that you fix even the littlest details. That includes adding a capital letter to the start of a new sentence.  It's OK if you don't do that but if you know that you didn't add a capital letter then add it because if you know that you made that small mistake, why not fix it?

4. Feedback!

Let's say you want to give some feedback to the person your writing to. This could be a tip or some advice for something! Make sure you don't come off rude (as mentioned from before).

5. Add something you liked about what they did or the project they made, etc!

For example, let's say I wanted to comment on one of the Manaiakalani Film Festival movies and I have a favourite part from the movie! Add it in! Example: "Hello Room ___! I loved your movie because ________". Something like that maybe but add more other nice things you liked!

5.  Don't make your Comment boring!

Sometimes people just write short and boring comments like, "Cool", "I like your movie",  etc and that's not really a proper comment. It sort of seemed like a year one wrote it (no offence year 1's)! Make your comment long (but maybe not WAY too long- LOL)!

And there you have it! Some times for a positive, thoughtful and quality comment. I hope you use these tips and feel free to leave a positive comment :)
