Optical Illusion SLJ

Welcome back or welcome to my blog!

This is the second task for the Summer Learning Journey and it was simple yet very fun! If you look at the illusion I made below, you can see 3 happy girls that are different heights.. or are they?
Truth is that, all 3 girls are the same height except the girl behind the first girl is placed higher. That goes for the girl in the back. She is placed just slightly higher then the middle girl creating this illusion.

Please leave a positive comment :)

  1. Kia ora Aye, that's very clever. I had to look carefully at your three happy girls to see if they are all the same height.
Well done sharing the Kick Start activity. Did you notice there is a Step it Up activity where you can earn more points?
Use screencastify to teach somebody how to create their own illusion and explain how you made yours. Share your video on your blog.

  2. Kia ora Aye (Myat),
this optical illusion really made me think for a while. It looks normal at first but then you ask yourself "why is the girl in front so short?". Did you have any other illusions in mind or that illusion was only one? What is the most weirdest and freakiest illusion you've seen? This is the link to the weirdest illusion i've seen (it's a tutorial):

I would like to say good job with the task and to hope to see more blog posts in the future.

    Haere ra and thank you.

    1. Hey Jin!

Thank you for this very nice comment! I also thought for a while when I first saw an illusion like this! The craziest illusion's I have probably seen are like where you stare at the screen for a while and then look around you and it makes everything weird and strange!

      Thanks for the comment again,

      Aye :)

  3. Tena koe Aye,

Charlotte here from the Summer Learning Journey team.

I have loved looking at your optical illusion - thank you for sharing! I did think the girl at the back looked bigger but realised I was wrong after reading the rest of your text. You did a great job at tricking my eyes!

Did you enjoy creating the optical illusion? I have always liked looking at optical illusions. I think they are so fun!

    Keep up the good work!

    Nga mihi,

    Charlotte
