This is an information report on Mars. This was written a long time ago, I thought I posted it but apparently not so here it is. I hope you like it- I think I did it good enough :)

Just like Earth, Venus and, Mercury, Mars is a Terrestrial planet meaning it has a rocky surface. Our “Red Planet” that is fourth away from the Sun is known to be the second most habitable planet, first being Earth.
Apparently, Scientists have found small traces of the Martian atmosphere within meteorites that have came from Mars onto Earth. This probably intrigued the Scientists to begin studying Mars and also to launch some space missions.
Mars actually has the largest dust storms in our solar system! They can last for months and they cover the entire planet. This is definitely something that we should know about the Red Planet before we try living on it. Living on Mars could have some pro’s and con’s and the dust storms are definitely one of the cons.
There are a few signs of liquid water on Mars although, for years Mars has been known to have water in the form of ice and not liquid. The first signs of water are dark stripes or stains on crater wall and cliffs which have been seen in satellite images! However, due to Mars’ atmosphere, this water would have to be salty to be able to prevent it from freezing or vaporising. So potentially from that fact, salty water may be able to stay liquid on Mars but we’d need fresh water to drink if we moved there.
Apparently one day Mars will have a ring! In the next 20-40 million years, Mars’ biggest moon, Phobos, will be torn apart by gravitational forces which’ll lead to the creation of a ring that could be able to last up to 100 million years! So maybe Mars will end up looking something like Saturn? This’ll also mean that Mars would be left with one moon after Phobos is torn apart!
Sunsets on Mars are blue! Imagine how pretty it’d look yet different from Earth’s sunsets. During the martian day, the sky is a pinkish-red, this is the opposite of the Earth’s skies. If we were to live on Mars, we’d have to get used to the new colours of the sky. The colour of the planets’ skies depend on that planets atmosphere and also the Solar Spectrum.
Mars, one of the 3 Terrestrial planets, will we be able to one day live on it?
