Aye-Myat flying drone recount

Introduction: Excitedly some kids from the block walked outside into the bay for an exciting activity that was a surprise for some kids. That  activity was going to happen on the field in the afternoon. The reason why we flew the drone is so number 1.we can learn how to fly it. Number 2.we can learn something new.

PARAGRAPH  : THE DETAILS! On Tuesday afternoon Mr Moran took 19 kids from the block those 19 kids got to fly a drone. If you don’t know what a drone is it’s a GPS stands for global positioning system which is a tracking device you can control with a phone. Anyways we went down onto the bike track when Mr Moran told everyone to go back to class and get there hat. After that almost everyone got a turn of flying it  when we flew it we heard humming sounds and it flew like superman.sadly I didn’t get a turn but after that we went back to class and made a recount about it.

Cross Country

As soon as the bell rang everyone went to class. Every single teacher was very early. Once the block and pt England school lined up outside on the concrete there was a bunch of people talking about cross country. Everyone was wearing there house colours. Mr Burt did stop looking and listening to get every ones attention. All eyes were on him. Mr Burt explained the instructions very clearly. First up year ones boys. 2nd up year one girls Catherine  my besties little sister was first out of the girls. a few minutes later it was the year four girls. I was super duper nervous. Settling in the line "clap" went the wooden clapper. I bolted as fast as I could. I went past Miss King all the way to the finish line. I finished the race and I was gasping for air. As I grabbed a water bottle I started getting dizzy and weak so I couldn't open my water bottle. So I gave it to my bestie Finau to open it for me. I gulped a bunch of water and then I closed my lid. 1 hour or 2 later cross country was finished. I was relived. Finally I went home.

Elimination tag with a twist

With excitement the Block went to the playground to play elimination tag but little did we know it had a twist to it. The twist was that there were also going to be Dodge ball throwers on the edges of the playground.Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to play because of my arm but i didn't really mind. Once the game began I saw almost everyone running as fast as a cheetah and I saw a bunch of people climbing up on stuff just so they didn't get tagged. And there were lots of honest people that came down onto the  grass because they were tug. "2 minutes left" Mr Moran said. Everyone was cheering for Marius because he was the winner. Marius was a bit excited for himself so he bolted across the playground and he had a bad accident. I was worried for him. I hope my arm stays broken forever so I don't get hurt like Marius.

Aye myat my fun day at the YMCA pools

Yesterday after school my mum told me and my sisters that my family and I would go to the YMCA pools. Excitement ran through me and my sisters. Once I arrived home I took my lunchbox ad my water bottle out of my bag then I put my bag away. My mum then told me to sit on the floor so we can eat some rice. When I was done eating with my family I went to put my swim togs on with my sisters. After me and my sisters got changed my dad then got changed into his swimming shorts. Everyone was ready to go swimming my mum thought since it was a sunny day we should walk to the pools. We walked and walked and finally reached the pools. We got to the front desk and payed money. Straight away without wasting any time I went and swam in the pools with my sisters. At the afternoon i had to go back home. That is my fun day at the pools.

Aye myat poly strong challenge

Today the block made a poly strong challenge video. The poly strong song is basically talking about cultures and for people to be proud of their own culture no matter if they are samoan,tongan,fijian it all doesn't matter it just matters if you are proud of your culture. For an example if you are tongan that doesn't mean you can’t do a fijian dance moves it just means you are different in a good way. All you have to remember is that you are tongan or samoan and everything else. I’m Rakhine but that doesn't mean i can’t do fijian samoan and tongan dance moves. All that everyone has to remember is that to be proud of themselves no matter what. And also today I made a poly strong dance with my friends.

As the All Blacks were doing the haka they were standing with complete mana. They showed everyone there strength of a warrior. At the end of the haka the All Blacks poked out their most fierce pukana’s.

Valerie Adams

When Valerie had started a school she was the biggest kid there and she also played Athletics. When Valerie was 15 her mother had passed away and she was heartbroken plus she was a hard working lady and anyone who came into her life the first person would be her mum. In 1999 she went to her first world youth championship. And she also started shot put when she was 40 wich was very amazing. She won four Diamond trophies and a Samoan one. She also had a friend called Ericka, they had been friends Since primary school. This guy was a bully to valerie so her friend stood up straight and said ’’ don’t you touch my friend’’ then she gave him a black eye. Valerie was so Lucky to have a friend like her.

All kids should always sleep at 8:00 so they get lots of sleep and wake up early.
Kids like me should normally wake up at 7:30 because then they have lots of time to get ready for school.
 Every day children need to brush their teeth twice a daily they need to brush their teeth once in the morning and once at night.
 When children finish brushing their teeth if they need to they can take a shower.
 Childrens breakfast should be healthy cereal is 1 of the healthy breakfasts because it can contain milk but fruit and vegetables are also healthy.
 After breakfast kids need to change into their school uniform
 After changing kids get their lunchbox full of food their water bottle and last but not least their backpack then they put their lunchbox and their water bottle inside their bag.
 When children arrive back home they can eat a quick snack change their clothes and then play outside for 60 (sixty) minutes daily.

In a valley that was healthy and strong with gorgeous plants and trees, there lived seven sisters. Every year at harvest time, the seven sisters made spectacular kites and flew them.

 Once the next harvest came around the seven sisters made their kites.

 The eldest sister made a grassy green kite out of the harakeke bush.

 Then the second sister made a shimmery orange kite out of the raupo bush.

 third sister made a luscious pink kite from the manuka tree.

 The fourth sister made a red kite from the puriri tree, Fifth sister made a blue kite that was the colour of the beautiful rivers.

The sixth sister made an white kite from the toetoe bush.

 the seventh cleverest smartest and most gorgeous out of all the sisters her name was Matariki, she made a rainbow coloured kite.

 The seven sisters took their kites onto the top of a beautiful hill at the top of the valley to fly them But sadly for the sisters there was no breezy wind blowing so the sisters tied their kites onto a tall tree and fell asleep under the tree.

 During the night the wind was blowing so hard that the sisters’ kites flew away.

Matariki the youngest sister awoke and saw that the kites were gone.

 She cried and cried, until her sisters woke up from the sound of her crying. They also saw that their kites were gone.

But Matariki, the smartest sister, looked up in the sky and saw the kites.

 The kites danced among the stars.

 The sisters were so pleased that the kites were shining brighter thAn the stars.

 Each morning Matariki rose up in the morning sky signalling the start of new year.

the zoo trip

As soon as my class arrived at the zoo I heard squeaking squealing and screaming in soft little voices i could tell everyone was excited.

 When my class and i entered the zoo we made two lines with Kirsty that was one of the zookeepers and Kirsty led us to the center of the zoo (morning tea and lunchtime place) and taught us a bit about what to do at the animals to keep safe from the animals and what not to do to the animals to keep us away from danger.

 As soon as we finished discussing about animals my class and i got into our groups and explored the zoo. The first thing my group and i explored were some cheetahs and one cheetah tried to bite my group or tried to scratch us because i saw a scratch in the inside of the glass.

 Anyways after the cheetah my group went to go explore the Te Wao Nui (New Zealand) area and saw a few New Zealand animals including the kiwis yes actual kiwis.

my class then had morning tea, After morning tea my class and my group went to Bug Lab.

 Once we entered bug lab everyone in my class and my group that had an backpack had to put it down at the entrance to Bug Lab and the inside of the Bug Lab was brilliant there was an bee rub game and my friend finau was crying because she was scared of the game anyways there was an fake telephone that lets you ask questions about bugs and people learn stuff from them.

 Next my class and i saw some incredible eels (fun fact when eels are very old they need fresh water so the old eels have to swim all the way to tonga) after the eels my class had leave but it was an great experience but i felt amazed and i learnt that eels have to swim from New Zealand all the way to tonga and my favourite animal was the flamaingos.

Rube Goldberg

My Rube Goldberg machine uses 5 of the 6 machines i named it the Domino Server its supposed to serve you a domino let me explain.This stuff is on top of an Ramp So the ball (wheel) knocks Dominos (lever).The last Domino at the end of the Ramp falls into the bucket with the  Pulley, the Pulley hits Dominos (lever).On another ramp the last Domino (lever) on the end of that ramp falls down and slides on an ramp and into another ramp (inclined plane) and comes out of the inclined plane and serves you an Domino.

Mufti and wheels day

A great way to raise money is to hold a mufti and wheels day at school because at my school we had had mufti and wheels day on friday at school to raise money for the year 8 camp.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              In the beginning everyone had to come into their classroom and give their teacher 1 dollar or 2 dollars i gave my teacher Mr moran 2 dollars. Next after learning every classroom finally gets their morning tea but the only thing is that at morning tea every student can’t get there wheels yet. After the bell rings everyone rush’s back to class and do numeracy. Next the whole of Pt England school gets excited for lunchtime so they get to ride their wheels like skateboards hoverboards a bike and scooters and roller skates. Finally after a big hot day we finally go home.

Peter rabbit and Benjamin rabbit

Peter rabbit and Benjamin found an path to the garden and slid down the roof onto the washing line. They were balancing on the line. Then Benjamin suddenly fell but peter grabbed him by the ears and pulled him up to safety. Soon unexpectedly Peter was to heavy for Benjamin so Benjamin couldent carry him and so peter fell. In a while Benjamin and Peter both fell into Mr Migreger’s pants when they fell. Benjamin and Peter hopped out of the pants. When they got out of the pants Peter bragged ‘’ Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy’’. But out of nowhere Mr Migreger himself appeared ‘’rats’’ hissed mr migreger ‘’ah’’ screamed Peter and Benjamin. Still whatever Benjamin and Peter tried to do so they can both escape from Mr Migreger because as soon as they ran anywhere Mr Migreger kept on appearing. Benjamin and Peter kept running but again Mr Migreger appeared and said ‘’hello’’ and of Benjamin and Peter ran into the house while benjamin said ‘’this guy is so much faster then the old one’’.
