SLJ Kiwi Jingle Bells

Welcome back or welcome to my blog!

This is my 9th Summer Learning Journey task and I had to write my own Kiwi Jingle Bells song! It took me around 20 minutes or so to come up with the lyrics so I hope you enjoy! I did the step it up too by singing my Kiwi Jingle Bells song! You can see the video at the end of the slide deck.

Let me know what you think of my Jingle Bells song and as always, please leave a positive comment :)

  1. Kia ora Aye,

Fiona here from the SLJ. You have done a great job creating your very own version of Jingle Bells - ka pai! It was so awesome to see that you Stepped it Up and created a video of yourself singing your song.
I really liked the line in your song about eating Hokey Pokey ice-cream on the beach. Hokey Pokey is very special to New Zealand and such a great flavour! Is this your favourite flavour of ice-cream?

I’m so glad that you are enjoying the SLJ and keeping up your learning over the holidays.

Have a great Christmas and I look forward to seeing more of your outstanding blogs soon!

    Fiona (SLJ).

    1. Hello Fiona Rua!

Thank you so much! I tried my best. Hokey Pokey sure is yum but it isn't my personal favourite! My favourite is Mint Cookies and Cream!

      Thank you,

      Aye :)

  2. Hi Aye!

It's Finau, love your singing. Your songs and ideas. Plus the ideas are all about Aotearoa and things we do during Christmas and during Summer. I hope you to see more songs. Keep up the great singing Aye!

    From Finau:)
